The Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) for Indigenous Women Living with HIV Project is a multi-country initiative that places a strong emphasis on culturally grounded solutions. We work alongside Indigenous women, Elders, researchers, and community leaders across Canada, Guatemala, India, Nepal, New Zealand, Nigeria, and Peru, respecting and valuing their cultural heritage in our collaborative efforts.

 Specific Aims

  1. Improve Understanding

  2. Strengthen knowledge of barriers affecting data collection, analysis, utilization, and communication related to the SRHR of Indigenous women and girls living with HIV.

  3. Build Partnerships

  4. Expand and deepen partnerships that inform SRHR care programming, planning, and learning at local, national, and global levels.

  5. Enhance Capacity

  6. Support the next generation of Indigenous and allied researchers, civil society professionals, and in-country leaders in effectively collecting, analyzing, communicating, and utilizing data for transformative change.
